Help Save Animals with Your Art!

I just found an awesome project called "Art for Animals" thanks to Sheila Tajima. Any artist can participate in it to save sheltered animals. Make a painting of an animal in your local shelter, or of an animal who's a part of a rescue operation, and donate the painting to the shelter or the rescue group. Then the shelter or rescue group will auction your art. Or it can use your piece as a gift for anyone adopting the animal you've painted. You can paint the animals live, take your own photographs, ask the shelter or rescue group to take photographs, or use the pix on www.petfinder.com.
